Dear Caravan Owner
Everyone at HDHH hopes that you are well and staying safe in these unprecedented times.
SITE RE-OPENING
Following the Government’s announcement on their Roadmap for re-opening, we hope to welcome you back on-site on Monday 12th April, the gates will be opened at 9.00am.
This date is subject to the Government confirming on the 5th of April that re-opening will go ahead on the 12th of April. We will confirm this on Facebook and on our website.
We are keeping a close eye on guidance and will keep our social media and our website updated regularly.
For those of you who don’t have access to the internet, please feel free to call our Office if you wish to confirm before you travel.
The Office opening hours are currently 9.00am -11.30am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We all have our fingers crossed that after Easter there will be a significant improvement in the situation, allowing for an uninterrupted season for you to enjoy your caravan.
Your safety and that of our staff is our priority, therefore can we remind all of you:
Please do not travel to HDHH if you or anyone you have been in contact with in the last 14 days has shown any symptoms of Coronavirus.
Once on-site, please continue to observe social distancing guidance and follow the Government rules on group sizes allowed.
Masks are required to be worn inside at all times within our Reception until Government guidance changes.
Customer numbers allowed inside Reception will be limited to 1 family at a time. Please be patient.
We anticipate the rules will continue to change throughout the coming months, so please be patient with us whilst we adapt and implement changing measures.
ARCHES PUB
From the 12th of April we hope to re-open Arches Pub, but to begin with this will be limited to outside seating only! As soon as the rules relax we can’t wait to welcome you back inside.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for some sunny and warm weather!
FOOD @ THE MUNCHBOX
THE MUNCHBOX will also re-open on the 12th of April, run by Bill from the Arcade with a refreshed menu and some new team members. Many of you enjoyed the food last year, especially those of you who collected and used your party night vouchers; we are hoping the new menu will be a winner!
For those of you who still have food and drink vouchers left over from last year, we are happy to accept these for drink purchases within Arches Pub, up until and including 30th April 2021.
NORTH & SOUTH
We will continue to offer for sale Gas bottles (47kg) for your caravan, the price will be confirmed when we re-open. Gas bottles will be delivered free of charge to your caravan in the afternoon.
Your gas bottle will be tagged when it is delivered to show that it has been purchased from us.
SWIMMING POOL
We hope that the HD Fun Pool will re-open this year as usual in time for Spring Bank Holiday.
You will need to come to Reception and collect your new pool passes for this year. Please see our Reception and social media for pool opening times.
PLUMBER & ELECTRICIAN
Lee, Alex & Nathan will continue to offer their services as our on-site plumber and electrician team, their contact numbers for your convenience are:
Lee @ L.A.S Gas: 07736 569997
Alex @ C.E.S: 07969 365817
Nathan@ C.E.S: 07376 217026
Both L.A.S Gas and C.E.S can now take card payments for your convenience.
LAS Gas (Lee) and C.E.S (Alex/Nathan) must be used for all electrical and plumbing work required on your caravan, as we know the relevant qualifications and insurance are in place for your safety and those around you. No other electrician or plumber has permission to work on our sites as this allows us to keep the costs as low as possible for you.
OUTSTANDING PAYMENT FOR TESTS & TESTS DUE
Any outstanding payments to either LAS Gas or CES need to be paid prior to the site opening and a valid test certificate needs to be provided to HDHH Reception before your caravan is used.
CARAVANS FOR SALE
In 2020 we sold out of caravans! We are eagerly awaiting new stock but this will be limited, so if you are interested in upgrading please let us know so we can give you a heads up when stock arrives before it goes live online.
For this year only, due to the limited supply, we have decided to relax our age limit on caravans being sold to remain on our site. Therefore any caravan may be sold to remain on site, as long as it has valid gas and electric test certificates and is of suitable appearance and condition agreed by HDHH.
Based on this, we will be offering some starter caravans which we are currently upgrading ready for sale when we re-open. Contact the office or check online for further information.
RENTING OUT YOUR CARAVAN
When we re-open, we will still be asking you to provide your guests’ details and dates for their stay to help us with any Government Track and Trace in place.
- Ensure that your guests know NOT to travel if they or any of their party have symptoms of Coronavirus.
- Make sure your customers know what to do if they develop symptoms whilst on site.
- It appears currently that caravans are only to be used by a single household – please bear this in mind when using or renting out your caravan.
- Please provide a key release form so that your guests may collect your keys smoothly and instruct guests of the hours the keys may be collected.
DEFIBRILLATOR
A reminder to all owners that our Defibrillator machine is located by the entrance door to our Reception.
DRIVING ON-SITE IN WET WEATHER
Martyn and Ant work hard to maintain the grass throughout the year, if there is heavy rainfall, bollards will be raised restricting access to certain areas to preserve the grass and prevent cars getting stuck.
Bollards will be lowered at set times throughout the day and HDHH staff will guide you and your car to the road nearest to your caravan for unloading and loading only. Thank you for your co-operation.
FACEBOOK & HDHH WEBSITE
In these ever changing times, we will be relying on our Facebook posts to provide you with any updates. This
allows us to update the majority of our customers in the quickest way. If you do not have access to the internet, please contact us by phone.
We invite any of you who haven’t joined our Facebook family to follow us, so you can stay up to date.
Please be respectful to each other and our staff when posting messages.
A LITTLE REMINDER:
To all owners please also make sure we have an up to date copy of your current Caravan Insurance Certificate.
To any owners who have outstanding Site Fees for the 2021 season and/or Finance Payments, please make sure your balance is up to date in order for you to be able to use your caravan from the 12th of April.
From all of us at HDHH, we can’t wait to welcome you back, Stay Safe- Stay Healthy!
